Changelog #0001

More and more sites have more than one agent working on them. This week Webly makes that safe, shows you who visits your sites, and helps you keep a long list of sites tidy.

Several people and agents on one site

Several people and agents can now edit one site at the same time, with nothing to lock. When two agents change different parts of the same file, both changes are kept. When they change the same lines, the second agent is shown both versions and asked to combine them, so nobody's work is silently lost. Every version records who wrote it and with which app. See Drafts and publishing.

Visitors

Every published site now counts its visitors. The new Visitors tab shows visitors, page views and more over time, along with your top pages, sources and countries. Bots and your own visits aren't counted, and draft previews aren't tracked.

Folders on the Sites page

Move a site into a folder from its menu

Group sites into folders, archive the ones you're done with, and drag sites between folders on the Sites page.

Fixes and improvements

  • Site pages in the dashboard are calmer, and site cards lift a shade on hover instead of zooming.
  • Two writes to the same site now take turns instead of racing each other.
